PERSONALITY STRUCTURE/SOCIAL ATTITUDES & BEHAVIOUR
Gillian is predominantly an extravert with plenty of self-confidence.  She has a lively, spontaneous and outgoing personality.  Others will see her as sociable and demonstrative with a strong liking for life in general.  She is receptive and responsive, so it is also possible for her to change her image like a chameleon to suit the people she is with.  This can be achieved by quickly changing body language and is a very subtle process.  In this way, she is able to shift image
and present herself slightly differently to each person without it being noticed. 
This is an unconscious act which she may not be aware of but others will appreciate this useful skill.
Activity and bustle are essential elements to her personality.  She has plenty of vitality, so tends to be energetic, fast-moving and is always looking for variety in her life.  Such is her optimism in the future and trying out new things, that it is quite likely that she will have more than one project running at a particularly time.  However, she needs to guard against not completing them or burning herself out.

INTELLECTUAL/WORKING QUALITIES
Gillian has a curious, sharp mind which is constantly looking for diversity in life.
Too much routine would easily bore her and she would soon be looking for something more stimulating.  She can be easily distracted or to go off at a tangent if something more interesting catches her attention.  But on the positive side she is always on the lookout for something new and is able to take the initiative and grasp opportunities.
Gillian is strong-minded and ambitious, although she has the ability to yield when necessary and respond to the mood of the moment.  She is progressive with a strong desire to succeed and could even be considered entrepreneurial. 
Leadership skills are indicated in that she is able to enliven others with her enthusiasm and hope. Therefore, she is a good motivator and is able to make others share her belief that anything is achievable.
She has the ability to make plans for the future, although there is an inclination to get carried away with such plans and overlook detail or take on too much. 
Therefore, being trapped or pinned down by firm deadlines could present a problem.  Her preference is to remain flexible and keep her options open which allows her to ‘go-with-the-flow’ and respond to any eventuality.  However, she should guard against impulsiveness and a lack of forethought which could lead to unnecessary mistakes. GILLIAN’S REPLY I have often thought that you can tell a lot about a person from their handwriting and Joyce’s analysis is pretty accurate. I do change my image to suit the situation and I am in and I am very different with my family and friends than with people at work. I agree that I seek diversity and I do try to fill my time outside work with as much activity as possible to avoid boredom.  I am very fortunate to have a job where no two days are the same. I would give the analysis 17 our of 20 for accuracy and on this evidence I can see it as a very useful tool for employers.
